On my stamping community website we have rotating weekly challenges (color challenge, technique challenge, theme challenge, and mystery challenge). Next week is the theme challenge and the theme is Goodbye/Farewell cards. I dug through all of my stamps and the only thing I could find that was suitable was this little mexican guy and a donkey by Amuse Art Stamps.
For some reason, I haven’t been very creative lately and I’m not particularly thrilled with the outcome of this card. I can say that I had fun playing with my stamps, though! As you can see, I doodled the card to death; I drew the cactus with a black sharpie marker, added the white doodle border with a white jelly roll pen, and hand wrote the ‘Adios!’ sentiment. Perhaps I’ll take another stab at the ‘Goodbye/Farewell’ theme tomorrow – I think I have something beachy in mind.
