I absolutely loved this card by Doodlebop (splitcoaststampers) and just had to CASE it. I didn’t have any brown polka-dot paper so I just drew up my own on the computer and printed it out on 65lb white cardstock. You can’t even tell that it wasn’t store bought!
I have been playing around with my Easter Egg/Easter Basket templates and came up with the most colorful Easter ensemble on the planet, haha. I guess that’s what you get when you’re an idiot such as I and sell off all of your stamping supplies. Can you hear that *thud*? That’s me kicking myself in the ass!
The calendar template is finally finished. I *attempted* to do something creative with it today but, alas, I am in a blah mood and don’t much feel like stamping. Perhaps I’ll make another attempt tomorrow. You know where to find the template.
Here is todays attempt:
Here we are turing the panels and are in between months…
I had some time to pull out my sewing machine and play with my new nerdy mole stamp, or whatever it is. I really like the way this card turned out.
If you’re anything like me, you have a few family members that are extremely hard to buy for. As a last resort, I always opt for the ever popular gift card. This year, instead of using the boring packaging that usually comes with the gift card, I decided to make something a little more special. When the card is opened, the gift card magically pops up! Normally I would do something a little more glitzy in terms of decorating and embellishing but this silly stamper has next to no stamps or supplies left. Stupid me *thought* I was no longer interested in stamping and sold everything I owned. Of course, as fate would have it, I just recently rediscovered my love of stamping and now find myself re-purchasing the things I used to have. Stupid, stupid Sherry!
